A stage actress in the late 1800s, Kate Gurney appeared in a number of silent films from 1919 until 1928.  She also worked as co- Scriptwriter with Frances E. In 1922, she appeared in The Flight of the King by George Ridgwell for British Colonial Kinematograph company, which had also made The Last King of Wales and The Last Crusade in the same year.

  1. You have misspelt Kate Guerney’s name it should be Gurney. I have seen Bobbie Rudd in both of his films Sam’s Boy and the Skipper’s Wooing and he was very good. Shame no one knows anything about his.
