Birth date 1901, London

Joan Lockton’s first silent film role was in 1919 in The Disappearance of The Judge .  A year later, when she was 17 years old, she played the role of Dina Dorf in The Pillars of Society (1920) – some of the scenes were filmed in Norway.  She went on to make only a few more silent films: Miss Charity (1921), The Sins Ye Do (1924), White Slippers (1924), Confessions (1925), The King’s Highway (1927), A woman redeemed (1927).
